Biography
My "outside expert cred": Lived in Seattle the last 15 years and have done several public speaking events as I run the largest executive search firm in the Northwest (www.herdfreedhartz.com) working with the most interesting big brands to startups.
My "Bend cred": I grew up in Bend, graduated from Bend High School (go Lava Bears), met my awesome wife Rachel there, go back to Bend every few months to visit family and stay in our condo. I love Deschutes Brewery, breakfast at Victorian Cafe, and long walks along Old Mill District waterfront.
My "random cred": Traveled to 54 countries, just adopted a baby girl 2 months ago, I'm addicted to Mighty O donuts (winner of best donuts in the US on Food Network), and took my wife Rachel to Paris to eat crepes on our 15th anniversary this summer.
