About Ignite

If you had 5 minutes on stage what would you say? What if you only got 20 slides and they rotated automatically after 15 seconds?

Around the world geeks have been putting together Ignite nights to enlighten us – quickly.

A Story of Redemption, one Frog at a time.

Pauly Anderson

Pauly Anderson, a North Dakota expatriate, found a home here in Bend, which he shares with his wife Shelley and a ‘Jill’ Russell terrier named Biscuit.

My interest in art was nearly crushed. I believed I wasn't an artist. Malcolm Gladwell, a writer I like, inspired me when he wrote that he didn’t believe in talent; he only believed in practice. I decided to practice art for 30 minutes a day for 100 days. Every day I drew a frog. Taking on a life of its own, it became a quest - not to achieve anything, but to rekindle something I wanted more of back in my life. 100 days, 100 frogs. What could you do with 30 minutes a day?
