Biography
Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, college in Tucson, moved to LA to start a tourism/marketing/sales career. Moved to Montana and loved it. Furthered career by moving to the Tahoe area to work for Planet Hollywood in sales and marketing. Had subsequent tourism jobs including marketing director for a company that traveled high school bands, choirs and orchestras around the world. Got married, had a little girl and decided that I needed to stop putting butts in beds and do something more meaningful (at least to me) and took on an ED position for a non-profit that took at risk youth off the streets and employed them to paint murals and beautify the community instead of defacing it. Moved to Bend for spouse's employment opportunity. Had another amazing girl, took on a hobby job of marketing which is now more than a hobby. Now a business owner and single mom of two smallish girls and loving Bend.

Description
Through this rather rocky journey of becoming a single mom, I have learned that certain things don't matter, some things definitely do, and I am in no way shape or form close to perfect. I have learned to ask for help. I know that multi-tasking is not always efficient but necessary. I have been on a roller coaster and have claimed crazy at times, sometimes with tears and also with a healthy dose of humor . . mostly laughing at myself. Friends have shifted. Life has shifted. I have taken up running and yoga and relied on my village for validation and help. Through it all there is a common thread of being human. We all have our "stuff". This is my journey . . so far. I wouldn't change it . .
