If you had 5 minutes on stage what would you say? What if you only got 20 slides and they rotated automatically after 15 seconds?
Around the world geeks have been putting together Ignite nights to enlighten us – quickly.
The Shortest Distance from Point A to Point B = 26.2 miles
Amy is a runner, writer and mama of twins. Writing keeps her happy and running keeps her sane while she manages a full-time job as a marketing coordinator for an architectural firm, and a household of four.
Have you ever wondered why someone would run a marathon? What could possibly be waiting at the finish for anyone to want to toe the starting line of a 26.2-mile race? Fortunately, there are many reasons – from physical challenge to weight loss. I’ve run nine marathons, and am currently training to run my tenth. My reasons for running are deeply rooted and can be traced back to when my father began running in 1982. I was just 6, but watched him train for 10Ks, 10-milers, half marathons and finally, marathons. Little did I know how much running would become a part of me, thanks to my dad. But running marathons has also made me a firm believer that anyone can do it. And I’d like to tell you why.
