Two Birds, One Stone: How Bend can save Tumalo Creek and $68 million in one fell swoop

Moey Newbold

Stop the Drain

Born and raised in Bend. Left to go to school at Vassar College in New York, and now I’m back because the East Coast ain’t got nothing on the West! Working with people in our community to advocate for a better Public Works policy. I'm a Fantasy Football fanatic, outdoors lover and fun-monger, I love this town and hope we can all work together to agree on whats best for it.

The SWIP, at $68 million, will be the City of Bend’s biggest Public Works project ever. Yet it is unnecessary, bad for the environment, and bad for ratepayers. Find out why a growing numbers of citizens are opposing this project and what we can do to stop it.
